Financial Solution Advisors is looking for a Tax Associate with at least 1 year of accounting experience who can work independently and closely with others. The position is ideal for a motivated self-starter. There is ample opportunity for progression, including a track to partnership for an individual with the right skill set. This is a full-time position that is open to local and remote candidates.

The Tax Associate can work in our Jacksonville, FL, office or fully remote from anywhere in the U.S. We value experience over credentials and offer a mentorship program to support your pursuit of the CPA designation.

Tax Associate Responsibilities

Lead assigned client tax engagements at varying complexity levels for a diverse group of clients, including business, individual, and multi-state tax returns
Interact closely with tax partners, staff members, and clients
Strong technical skills, including working knowledge of IRS tax changes and the ability to use tax research software and other reference sources available to the firm
Strong computer software skills with the ability to learn and work with multiple software platforms
Ability to follow firm policies and procedures and to meet deadlines and budgets
Ability to communicate with clients using non-technical terminology

Requirements

At least 1 year of recent accounting experience
Working towards CPA or EA
Self-motivated, hard-working team attitude
