Financial Solution Advisors is looking for a Senior Tax Associate with 3+ years of recent public accounting experience who can work independently and closely with others. The position is ideal for a motivated self-starter. There is ample opportunity for progression, including a track to partnership for an individual with the right skill set. This position is full-time and only open to local candidates.

Financial Solution Advisors offers a competitive annual salary commensurate with experience and professional development opportunities for accountants and CPAs. The Senior Tax Associate will work in our Jacksonville, FL, office.

Senior Tax Associate Responsibilities

Lead assigned client tax engagements at varying complexity levels for a diverse group of clients, including business, individual, and multi-state tax returns
Interact closely with tax partners, staff members, and clients
Strong technical skills, including working knowledge of IRS tax changes and the ability to use tax research software and other reference sources available to the firm
Strong computer software skills with the ability to learn and work with multiple software platforms
Ability to follow firm policies and procedures and to meet deadlines and budgets
Ability to communicate with clients using non-technical terminology

Requirements

3+ years of recent public accounting experience
CPA or EA
Certified in Florida, or in the process of meeting FL certification requirements
Self-motivated, hard-working team attitude
